Dying Wish
It was his thirty-fifth dying wish
He asked to implement his sixth sense to his youngest kid
We watched as he faded in and out of consciousness
The consequence of this immense request was discussed amongst us
The final decision was forbidden from being written
No paper chase would be traced to this mans dying face
Such a man deserved nothing but praise in his final days
A final respect was due, so we asked the loved ones to come soon
We were sure by high-noon his final moments would have arrived
You get the vibe inside that this man will strive to survive
His loving wife kneels by his side as she tries to hide the tears in her eyes
She delivers her final kiss to her husband’s lips
It rips your heart out to watch someone’s true love being taken from them
You think of the ways you would handle such a situation
Nothing in life is more important than true love
You can pray to the angels above and hope they send you some good luck
But I assure you true love is a rarity that the gods only disperse sparingly
When you find it you must hold on to it for eternity
It’s occurred to me that I’m standing in a scene from my reoccurring dream
This man and woman display what some say to be a modern day miracle
Happiness and love is what holds us up in our darkest hours
Shower yourself with determination so you can find these two amazing flowers
Comments please. Both good and Bad. I respect them both...?
Well stated, enjoyed your "true love is a rarity..."
