Any birthday gift ideas for my Grandma?!?

She's 70 this year, but she lives quite far away from me so I need to be able to have it delivered. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't do flowers because my Mum is so I'm a bit stuck!

Thanks!

Any birthday gift ideas for my Grandma?!?
A picture of her great grandchildren in a nice frame would be easy to post - would she like that?

We did a massive frame for my Granddad's 80th with pictures of his parents, him and my Nan (who died years ago) pictures of his children, grand children and great grandchildren - he loved it.
Reply:Send her a photo of yourself.

If you have any brothers or sisters or friends, include them in the photo.

Maybe you can write a little of yourself on a Birthday card that you made yourself.

That way you are letting her into your life.

I'm sure she would appreciate it more than if you go out and buy something.

It's far more personal :)

Reply:I’ll have to suggest www.creanta.com

They turn any image like your favorite photographs into a hand made painting.

What I liked of them is that they at reeeeaally good at capturing the physical likeness. Not to mention very affordable. I was very impressed with the results. I highly recommend them.

Best wishes!!
Reply:You could make up a small scrapbook for her with photos of family and decorate it. Write her a lovely poem on nice . paper or on your computer. Send her a message on a DVD. Or better still save up and spend your money on visiting her.
Reply:depends undergarments perhaps?

just kidding..

how about a family portrait, send her a nice large pic of you and the family and have it framed.

elderly people get all sentimental and wishy washy over stuff like that.

Reply:Nothing sez "love" to me, like a piece of Swarovski crystal!
