A guy who likes me bought me flowers on Valentines Day (they were delivered to me) and was at Hawaii the past two weeks. I was hanging out at his house yesterday and I didn't thank him! I'm shy and didn't want to in front of people. I feel horrible! My mom yelled at me for it too...

That doesnt make you a jerk. It just makes you what you are (shy). Thank him on your own time. He's not going to hate you for not thanking him on the spot.
