Did anyone else have trouble with their flowers from FTD not being delivered 2/14/08?
I ordered from FTD online on 1/29/08. The website says the flowers were delivered, but they weren't.
The customer service line "isn't taking calls at this time" (so much for 24/hr a day service!)
I emailed customer service and have not received a response.
NOW I'm going to have to file a dispute with my credit card.
I wil NEVER use FTD again!
FTD sucks for 2/14/08, do you have same experience?
Same here. Spent $100 + sending my daughters flowers. They billed my credit card, lied about having shiped the flowers, and finally owned up to not having sent them a week later. They still haven't refunded my credit card payment.
FTD SUCKS !!! NEVER AGAIN.
Reply:HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I used Failed To Deliver for the first time this year because as a Marriott Rewards Platinum member they offered me bonus points. BIG MISTAKE. Flowers did not arrive at my girlfriend's work on the 14th. I ended up looking like a real jerk to her and her co-workers. To make things worse, they show up today, the day after and they look like ****! I mean I would have scored much better had I gotten some flowers from the gas station. No response to emails and their customer service number is busy all day to boot too. Gee, I wonder why.... Already filed the dispute with Visa. Want my full money back and will probably stop staying at Marriotts from now on as well since they sold me over using Coast to Coast Florists that has had 100% delivery rate for years with me.

Why not call a local flower store with a credit card number and give them the business?
Reply:Yeah...they suck...same thing happenned to my bf last year...use ProFlowers from now on...they have nicer stuff and they don't suck
BTW - How annoying is that? I mean, they have one job...get the flowers there. They should know that valentine's day is crazy and allow for that (hire extra staff, etc.)...lame
Reply:I had the same problem!!! My fiance called me to check if I received something since he's out of the country and guess what I didn't receive anything! This is the second year in a row that they've done this. We should have known from our first experience. I tried calling them last night and they said the wait time is more than an hour. I stayed on the line for 2 hours and of course nobody picked up. It seems like they're doing it in purpose not picking up those lines. The worst part about it is he ended up paying extra just to make sure that I'll receive it on the 14th.
Reply:Me to--had them send two different flowers packages with notes. they mixed them up. also i gave them a large tip.
Reply:My flowers were not delivered either, and to make it worse, the florist lied and said they delivered the flowers. I think the whole company is a big scam. I will not touch FTD with a 3-foot pole. As a tip, even if FTD doesn't give you a refund, you can always file a dispute with your credit card company and have the charge taken off, which I'm sure most of you guys are already doing.
Reply:had a similar problem. ordered a doz. red roses vase and teddy bear, costing almost 90 bucks, and my wife received a doz. yellow roses no vase no teddy bear. calls to ftd are useless as it goes into a busy signal. filed a BBB report and contacting my cc for a chargeback.
Reply:I ordered flowers for my girlfriend to be delivered to her on Valentine's day. It is now the 15th, she still has not recieved her flowers, and the tracking number provided for DHL is not valid (according to DHL). I have tried to call several times from both a cell phone and a land line and I have not been able to reach a customer service person. I ordered about a week ahead of time too, they had plenty of time to do it right.
Reply:I placed order for two dozen roses on 2/11/08 for my wife to be delivered on 2/14/08. My wife never got her flowers delivered. She also stayed at work for few more hours waiting for flowers to be delivered, but it didn't happen. Buy the way I live in the Chicago land area where they have their headquarters. You think they have Chicago land market cover.
I will never buy from FTD.com and don't recommend anyone buying from FTD.com. Full refund is all they can give you in the end.
Reply:I ordered valentines flowers for my wife. FedEx tracking number was received but FedEx said they never got the flowers. FTD wasn't answering their phones or emails. Finally received a response on 2/18 with a full refund. FTD sucks! Never again.
