Long Distance Relationship Ended after 1 1/2 years, haven't communicated since July...Her BDAY is next Week!!

I had met the most amazing woman and we were in a long distance relationship for a year and a half, I travel for my job and always took the opportunity to travel to her. We spent in total about 6 months together, talked on the phone EVERY day for hours. Then she just all of sudden we didn't talk as much and it seemed I was not as important and then finally, I texted her and it was not a good time and she said it created problems and that I was too needy and that was it. This was July 3rd and we have not spoken/email/text..NOTHING. She didn't even reach out on my BDAY in August. Now her BDAY is next week and I had planned to fly to see her and hopefully at least see her..if she was willing. My thought was to send flowers to her job with a message to meet me at "our" favorite place for a quick dinner and to just talk. Should I conatct her beforehand? Is this a good Idea? Suggestions? One of her friends is willing to deliver "gifts" if I send...I just want it to be "us" again!HELP!

Given her comments about your "neediness", Showing up unannounced and uninvited reads to me as a touch clingy and might put her off. I would just send a nice gift to let her know you're still thinking of her. It might make her reconsider and get in touch with you, at least to thank you. Good Luck
Reply:showing up without telling her isn't a good idea. Send her a gift or email (no calling) and just wish her a happy birthday, let her know that you hope shes okay in life. Let her know that if she ever wants to talk you'll be there. Don't expect a quick call, this is just a small step. If she calls then you can move foward some more but don't rush it.
