Asking a girl out on Valentines day dinner?

Hi,



I have been talking to a girl since about November. We have met up a few times (movie, lunch, dinner, hike) but due to her work committments I have not seen her in over a month.



I would like to take her to Valentines day dinner but I am not sure where we stand. I have not kissed her but she knows that I like her. She is away on a trip until Wednesday so should I call her on her trip or wait till Thursday and pop the question to go to dinner with me?



What about flowers and such? Do girls like that or does that seem like too much as in wanting attention? Should I leave the flowers at her door or bring them to her if and only if she accepts dinner invitation? Or should I just hand deliver the flowers to her and ask her to dinner then? I won't get any balloons that speak of LOVE or things like that. Its too early to be speaking those powerful words I think.



I am 37 and she is 27.

Flowers are nice. Send them with a little note. Maybe you guys could see a movie so you dont have to eat naything.

Definately call her on Wednesday. Since the relationship isn't serious, she will want to prepare herself ahead of time for a date.



Also, if she accepts, I would bring the flowers with me that night. It is a nice ice breaker and will put a smile on her face when she sees you. Leaving them at her door is a romantic gesture but would be nicer coming from an established boyfriend.



When you get there on V-Day explain about your teeth, it will make her know how much you really wanted to take her out. That way you can skip eating anything that might make you uncomfortable.

Reply:valentines would be the cheesest day to do it.. do it bigger than valentines day, save some cash %26amp; take her somewhere fun or exciting. i told my wife when we were dating that i would make up valentines day because i was broke so what i did was take her on a japanese dance theater it was very nice %26amp; sort of expensive but thats what you got to do..

plus it would be kinda cool to show that just cause it is v-day you don't have to do it and she will %26gt;think%26lt; your not romantic till you bust out the big guns weeks later.
