So My Wife Is Going On A Business Trip Next Week and...?

I'd like to do something nice and sweet for her. I thought of having flowers delivered to her at the hotel, but they'd be hard to transport back on the plane.

I'm thinking of getting a romantic card and hiding it in her suitcase, so that she'll find it once she gets there.

Any other good ideas?

Order her a hot nice dinner and have it there for her when she gets there. And call and leave a sweet message at the front desk for the clerk to give her when she checks in
Reply:Those sound perfect to me! Good ideas
Reply:OMG i love that idea. i wish you were my guy. lol. it's kind of hard to do something romantic for her since you won't be there, but maybe you can do something romantic for her when she gets back. surprise her with a nice dinner waiting for her when she gets back home. something like that. Awwww...you're so sweet. She's a lucky lady.
Reply:If you’d like to do something nice for your wife while she is on a business trip and with cost effective in mind, of course depending on your wallet. Trust me, you wife will thanks you for this, but you’ll find out later, right?

Then, first, try to find out the place (hotel) where she’ll be staying. Second, you should know what she would like, either: lunch, dinner, and/or snacks, etc…

The next step is phoning the place where she stays to order something to her liking right after she is coming back from whatever event of that day. Most hotels would have flowers on the house order so you don’t have to. And finally, call your wife that night and tell her how much you’ve been missing her. The rest you can figure it out! Good luck!
Reply:you could leave a message at the dront desk for her...or fedex the card over there...or upgrade her room for her...

just something to know you are thinking of her!

you are a good husband!
Reply:Buy her earrings and put it in her suitcase. Women always love jewelry.
Reply:a card in her suitcase is very sweet and romantic but you could also write her a letter and let her know how much you really love her, or a poem. Kudos for being romantic with your wife. keep it up! ^ _ ^
Reply:clean the house top to bottom for her so its spotless when she gets back. better yet, hire a maid to do it.
Reply:The card is a good idea. If she will be gone awhile, flowers would be great, b/c as she was leaving, they would be drooping anyway.

What a nice husband!
Reply:I think the card thing is a good idea. You could call the hotel and see if they have a day spa she could go to and have them put a card in her room with the information about it and that you have reserved her a treatment. She will love that.
Reply:what ever you do make sure you and her both are happy and you put a big smile on her face
Reply:The card is a great idea! Maybe call the hotel and order her breakfast...have them deliver it just after she gets up, and ask them to leave a note on the cart for you
Reply:I think a card in her suitcase is a really nice idea, and upon her return you could have some flowers + a nice meal + a very clean house waiting for her.
Reply:if u knew her schedule when she would be down there, it would be neat if u can call the hotel and talk to the manager and arrange that when she gets in her room, her bath is already ready with rose petals in the water and bubbles and some champagne chillin in some ice in a bucket, and have them leave her a note to check her voicemail on her room phone and just leave a simple message, Hi honey, I hope this is the perfect end to your day. I miss you and love you! Enjoy your bath!
Reply:The card is a great idea... write something special in it.

I saw someone said, clean the house.. I agree.. That's an awesome idea too.

Flowers... forget sending them...but make sure they're on the kitchen table when she gets home. That way she gets to enjoy them. If she's getting home in the evening... have a candle lit dinner ready, maybe with a bottle of wine if you both enjoy.

It sounds like you take care of her...so... this question may be a stretch.. is there anything she's been "nagging" you to get done for awhile? I say nagging...but that's a bad word... I mean...requesting.... like painting a room, cleaning the garage, or whatever??? This would be a great time to get these things done too..

depending on how long she'll be gone, and how involved she'll be on the trip... any way you could fly out after she does, and join her for a night? OR, If she'll be there till let's say...Friday... could you fly out friday, and arrange for both of you to come home sunday instead?
