Should I apologize to my teacher?

Okay....last Friday my band teacher was ticked off because her one class stole a bag of chips we had for an event and ate them and took them to the instrument room. Well, since I am an aide 3rd period, I noticed that there were chips scadered on the floor, and a roach in that room on Wednesday. So I was going to tell her, but that day we had gotten flowers delivered to her and I totally forget beacause as soon as the bell rang my friend and I went to get them. So Thirsday in my aiding period I notice it and I was like "Dang I have to tell her!" but I forget again. So I was at school late Friday and I was getting my instrument to take home, and I saw and I was like "I'm telling her now!" And I was like "Just so you know, those chips are scadered in the insrument room and I saw a roach and some baby spiders..it's been like that a while." She wasn't in a terrific mood that day anyway, but she got kind ticked off and was like "A while!?" And I was like "Yeah I noticed it Wednesday."

Should I apologize to my teacher?
Yes, apologize. You will both feel better.
Reply:Would it make you feel better to apologize? If so, then you should. If you think you did something wrong then apologize for it, otherwise let it go.
Reply:well its not entirely your fault you forgot! just apologise nd tell her you forgot, nd tell her why you left the room without answering her question. Good luck im sure she will understand that you were pressured nd stuff.
Reply:I think you should of apologized right then and there..I'm sure she would of felt better about the situation. If you bring it up now she'll just get upset all over again..It's not your fault you forgot though.
Reply:Well, no one is perfect and who knows that may not have been the best day to tell her anyway. Just let her know you were not intentionally keeping information from her.
Reply:Sai sorrry, pirson!
Reply:Yes, apologize. Then go to work on your spelling %26amp; grammer.

Reply:just study hard in school...cause youre grammar stinks!!!
Reply:yeah, then you could clear your conscience and earn respect for doing so
Reply:She sounds stressed, don't say anything. Imagine working in a place that doesn't get cleaned and has roaches and spiders all over food that has been on the floor and student who steal your belongings. You don't have to apologize. However, you might want to make her think about her treatment of you by giving her a card or something that says, I am sorry you seem to be under so much stress. You might want to put an apple with it! You deserve the apology.
Reply:To me this seems a rather trivial matter.. we are all humans and we can forget something. it's not as though you forgot to tell her something that was of real importance for her to be told right away... it was a minor little offense.. all I would do is go back to her and tell her you were sorry for having walked out the other day when you told her.. and that you are sorry for having forgotten to tell her earlier and that it won't happen again.. Case closed..

If she is mature and a fair person she will let this matter go right away then.. I would just apologize once more as I said.. and then you have done your duty.. She is not perfect either and if she is a fair person she will understand that people sometimes can forget something.. she would have had more reason to be upset if this had been an important matter .. reassure her it won't happen again and apologize.. that' s the end of that and most likely she will say ok and the matter will be forgotten...xx
