Chances of my man getting in trouble for package being sent to his work?

I've ordered a bear stating: "I Love You" with a card and message from the company 1800-flowers.com. What are the chances my man will get in trouble at work WHEN he is HIGHLY liked and works in the deli department? A lot of people ask if I will embarrass him, but probably not, since he loves to make a joke (and will probably make a joke right then and there). What are the chances when he's highly liked do you think he will get in trouble for being sent a love related package?

The card says: Thanks for being a good father, role model, leader and of course, a great person to share my life with.

Love Always,

Michelle--

does that message sound OKAY?? We have a child on the way and I wanted him to know how much I love him!! Its suppose to be delivered on Thursday! ;)

I think it's a nice gesture and it shows you love and care for him deeply. As you have said he loves to make a joke- if I were you I wouldn't worry too much about this. I'm sure he will love it!
Reply:He is going to be so embarrassed!!! He's a man. What's he going to do with a teddy bear...his friends at work will never let him live that one down. Why not just surprise him when he get's home from work?
Reply:If the Boss is an unterstanding Boss, then perhaps he won't get in trouble for this at all.

At my last job there were people who did receive a couple of things at the work address before, in fact back when I ran for Township Trustee and the Press tried to get a hold of me, they called my workplace and gave them the reporter's number number, then they called me to tell me who it was that called and his number, but he did later track my home number and I listened to answering machine message, so I did wind up calling him and doing the interview for the article that he wrote.
Reply:I think that is perfectly acceptable. Most work places are fine with flowers and gifts (think of all the secretaries who receive flowers and cards). The card is very nice as well. I think it will make his day!
Reply:Nah, he won't get in trouble. It's a one-off right??

As long as you restrict that kind of thing to Valentine's Day or very one-off's it'll be fine. It's cute!
Reply:that should be fine. sounds like the worst that would happen is his boss to say something about not having mail sent to him at work. and that's only if they dont approve of it.

besides they shouldnt be mad it's not like he sent it there or told you to use that address.

message sounds fine to me.
