Reply:I just saw this advertised in a magazine. They're called edible arrangments and they're absolutely gorgeous "floral" arrangments cut out of fruit (bananas, strawberries, melons, etc). You can have them dipped in chocolate, put in special baskets, have different sizes made up. They even have ones for Halloween with little ghosts mixed with the fruit and placed in a pumpkin as a base. They range in price from $25 to $103. I thought that would be something memorable and different.
Reply:Defenitely something for her.

A bath basket w/ all the bubbles/salts/lotions/oils is awesome. Most people don't indulge in those things for themselves - at least not in one big scent coordinating basket.
Reply:Since I'm a doula, I'll make a suggestion for a gift for your doula. I would suggest something that was meaningful or helpful in your birth, whether it be a certain CD, candle, massage, or something that stands out in your memory of the birth, and use that as a guide for your gifting. I suggest something she can use in her doula service, so that other moms can benefit from your experience. Or, if you want a different idea, you could offer her a spa day or professional massage as your way of returning the pampering favor.
Reply:The doctor I used to have loved his job and loves babies and he had several picture frames w/the pic of the baby in it and some would cross stitch the name, date and time and he always took a pic w/the baby when they were still in the hospital so he has alot of those pics. Do a picture frame, personalize it and maybe a bottle of wine.
