Let's not spend so much time dwelling on what is bad...



But, spend some time dwelling on what is good.



I had sod delivered to my house yesterday...my neighbor, who had the day off...spent the afternoon laying the sod while I was at work!!! What a great, thoughtless gesture!

In addition...it was 94 degrees yesterday! What a great guy!



So now, I am encouraged to do something good for someone else...I sent an elderly neighbor flowers and signed from, "a friend"....I am trying to come up with something that will truly help someone else, and make them go wow...like my neighbor did for me.



So, share something good...

Let's get sappy for a moment...share something good that has happened to you this week?
My friend who has been living in Alaska came home for a visit. We spent a lot of good time together. I realized once again how much respect I have for him. I love him dearly and will miss him until his next visit.



I help my neighbor behind me once a week get their errands done. They are almost legally blind so they can't see to drive.



I visit with my aunt once a week and have coffee. She's twice widowed, so I think it helps her feel less lonely.

Reply:My dad is visiting and decided to buy my girls new a new bunkbed. He also worked all day putting it together. He is so awesome.
Reply:I gave a poor person $20 that i was gonna use at the mall. But this woman (a friend )could barely afford food and i just couldnt stand to see her not be able to go to the grocery store. Well, this was not good for me (i lost $20) but at least i did something good for her.
Reply:made up with my best friend ..ahhh........!

This timely quote helped me to understand the difficult situation I am passing through.
Reply:I got a responce to the letter I sent to my Godfather telling him abotu what has happend since my parents left the catholic church and that Im comming back to it.
Reply:My neighbor offered to take my son to VBS all next week which is a reall help to me. I didn't even have to ask!



My mom picked up some odds and ends for me while she was at the grocery store.



My brother's friend fixed our lawnmower for us.



Yesterday, my husband and I took groceries over to his parent's house and made dinner for them. They usually cook for everyone else so this gave them a nice break.



I also gave a bunch of baby food to my neighbor.



I signed my 3 year old niece up for dance class and paid for it since my sis can't afford stuff like that right now.

Reply:This happened to my son, He was in a recording studio and he noticed that one of the machines needed a new battery. He looked down at the floor, and there ,left by somebody was the exact battery he needed.

Something good that happened - yesterday my office won a "listen at work" contest on a radio station so we all got free lunch from Taco Bell delivered to our office.



I did something good yesterday for my boyfriend. I bought him a BB gun and some BBs so he can shoot at those squirrels that keep eating up all the seed from the bird feeder and eating the flowers and vegetables in the garden.
