Ladies- how do you feel about HUGE bouquets?

Today I got a HUGE HUGE HUGE bouquet delivered to my work for my one year anniversary. I really really appreciate the thought and the action, but I'm a little embarrassed because it is so big. I think a single red rose or three roses are sweet and small, and although the huge one is beautiful and extragevant, I'm a little tiny bit embarrassed. Is this weird? I profusely thanked my fiance, and like I said, I really appreciate the act, but I am a little embarrassed now. Should I say something? (Or not, and just hope that this is the only time I get over the top flowers?)

Just say thank you and that you love them. Maybe he got you a huge bouquet because it was a one year anniversary, and that's something big in a relationship. Usually the 2nd, 3rd, etc. anniversary will not be as special as the first one. The huge bouquet just means that he's really excited to have you, he may even have planned it for a long time so if you criticize his act, he might get sad. Although it can be a bit embarrassing, I'm pretty sure that you're also a bit proud to show it off to your co-workers ;)
Reply:wow one time when i graduated i got a really nice sized one...but my hubby usually sticks to the smalller stuff.he is not the one who got me the big one but he did get me my first rose! it was sweet:)
