my boyfriend of 7 months broke up w. me because he couldn't take our busy schedules anymore...i work all day %26amp; go to school at night %26amp; he works on the weekends. after 2 weeks he calls me %26amp; tells me that he misses me %26amp; loves me %26amp; that he made a huge mistake by letting me go. this didnt phase me %26amp; i told him that saying it would not make me believe it anymore because i believed him when he said that he didnt want to be with me. i told him that he needed to prove to me that he wanted me back. i got home from work last night %26amp; there were flowers delivered to my house that said "i love you so much %26amp; i am ready and willing to prove this to you now. i love you endlessly -ben". i thought it was sweet but i knew that i needed more than just a sorry and flowers for my heart to settle. he asked me to take work off tomorrow because he has some suprises for me. i love him but i want to be positive he loves me.
do you think he's sorry %26amp; that he truly knows he wants to be with me?
Does he know he screwed up or is he just really good at faking sorry?
Dump him. He cant commit.
Reply:you both need time to assess the problem that caused him to decide as he did. do you want to solve it? do your solutions match his? start over and take it slow with him, you need to get to know each other again.
Reply:I think he really means it. Sometimes it takes someone to lose someone they love before they actually know that they need them and want them in their life. I think you should give him another chance. I just hear him out before you go off and make a decision.
Reply:It sounds like he does really love you, maybe he was just stressed out from not being able to see you as much as he wanted and broke it off making a real irrational decision.
Reply:first of all, the flowers thing-- that's a good sign! i say that because flowers are not cheap, especially a boquet(sp?) of them, no matter what type of flower(s) it consists of. i really think he's trying.
i think when you see these surprises though, then you'll have your answer. maybe you should give it one more chance and see where it leads. if he goes back to his old ways, then YOU break it off. don't put up with it anymore-- it's not worth it. it only brings you down.
i'm sure things will be great though-- just have a NEUTRAL feeling about the whole thing, but have expectations for what surprises he may have for you, and if he meets those-- or is d*mn close-- take him back. notice the little things though (i know us girls are good @ that anyways.) see if he had little things in your surprises that would have taken him a lot of effort that's a good sign, because he thinks your worth it. and if it even costed SOME money-- that's another sign!! lmao!!
i think you should really give him a second chance and see where it goes. i hope this helped you! good luck sweetie!!
Reply:Also, if your asking this question to begin with. Its already over, it will always be in the back of your mind. Besides guys repeat things like this. So beware.

HELP!! Its my mums wedding anniversary and im looking for an unusual thing to buy them?
Buy them a trip abroad. can get some cheap weekend breaks to Europe now.....£150 or so. I suppose depends which number anniversary it is. PS it might not be her Dads anniversary.
could be stepdad
Reply:why are you fed up sending them flowers i bet they appreciate them. at least i would think that they are pleased that you remember them and care enough to send them
Reply:I'd find a local beauty parlour and book them both in for a pedicure or a massage - sounds odd but they will really enjoy it, particularly your dad who may not have had one before. They'll certainly remember it and it is qite unique.
Reply:Strap on c ock?
Reply:Give them a grandchild.
Reply:you could buy them an anniversary candle with their names and anniversary date on.
There are lots of websites to look on and it is a nice keepsake.
Reply:hello ,
Shall I send you a nice card ( UNUSUAL IN everysense) from India ? Please tell me the date ? ( let me see whether it will work out ? I am worried about the transit time.
joicey
Reply:2 tickets to Honolulu or Hawai.. pls. dont go with them, let them enjoy themselves !!
Reply:As it is actually your DAD's as well how about taking them BOTH out for a meal - you spending time with them is what they would really LIKE
Reply:Isn't it your dads wedding anniversary too?
Reply:Why not get a copy of their wedding pictures and select one, get it blown up and present it to them in a nice frame.
Reply:usually a wedding anniversary involves husband and wife!! Porthmadog in Wales is very romantic
Reply:Get them a digital photo frame- you can find cheap ones on eBay or I would get them a HD radio for their car. Go for something modern.
Reply:Buy them a weekend break, you can get some good deals this time of year,,,pack them off to Paris or Venice for a short break or ...Scotland is very Beautiful and has a number of superb hotels. Remember it's your Dad's anniversary too....and somehow I don't think he'd go for the edible arrangement thing.

Creepy or romantic?
I have had flowers delivered to my office twice in a row, a dozen beautiful Calla Lilies, I have no idea from whom, both times they were left for me at the reception, no one knows by who, no card, no way for me to know who the florist is. Just a note withmy name on.
Should I be worried there's some freak out there? Or flattered?
Creepy or romantic?
well, right now you dont know who it is, so its hard to tell. wait a little longer, try to forget about it, and if it comes up again, try to find out a little more. or leave a note for the guy. you could have a secret crush.
Reply:romantic! but could get creepy if it continues a lot...
Reply:well i think that its romantic but it could get creepy justwatch for people coming in with flowers
Reply:Be a little guarded. I always thought.."if I'm paying for the purchase and delivery of flowers to someone, I want to make sure they know who sent them." May be a little creepy.
Reply:Well now, it wasn't me! LOL. But it does seem a bit weird. Here's what you can do: Call the florist who delivered the flowers and ask them who the heck paid for them? They might even tell you. If you put it in terms of being a bit worried about a stalker, and get the person on the phone on your side, (hopefully a woman may answer the phone?) they may just tell you who it is.
And while I'm no stalker, it sure would be nice if you'd drop me a line. :D
Reply:Romantic... I wonder who! But if it continues for a while with no name, I would start thinking creepy. But for now, romantic! He should reveal himself soon!
Reply:Sounds romantic,,but you never know with fools nowdays...
Thats a very Pretty and Expensive Flower for April Fools joke
Reply:agree with dani
Reply:alright... Alright! I sent them :)
Reply:Sherry, be extra careful for a while and try not togo any where alone. I'm not saying you have a freak on your tail but better to be safe!
Reply:just enjoy the moment Hun

Was I out of line on Father's Day?
Our 23 yr old son only got his dad a card for today. Him, his wife and daughter live with us because they are having trouble financially right now. My son received a gym membership and a computer game from his wife %26amp; daughter (2yr). I think a book, a hat or something would have been nice for him to givve his dad. I said something to my son and now he's upset with me. Was I wrong? They had flowers delivered to me for Mother's Day.
All I said was I think he should have gotten him something.
Your opinion?
Was I out of line on Father's Day?
a card was nice for financial strain. but id say really greedy for a wife to go spend money for a membership and computer game, probably to keep it in the family for their own use. they are greedy. you had every right to do that.
Reply:Yeah - but the card to his father was from him....the gym membership that he received was NOT from him...really, it is hard to say that he is greedy because he was given something - this is not his fault! Report It
Reply:He should have gotten him something else he knew fathers day was coming. It comes every year around the same time.
Reply:maybe he's low on cash...it's the thought tht counts
Reply:you were right- he should have gotten his father something more since he's 23, and especially since he's staying with you...
Reply:If they are financially troubled then I don't blame just a card but something else would have been more appropriate like buying him dinner tonight. Hope I helped!
Reply:I definitely think he could've done better. Especially since he got a lot of gifts from his own wife and kid. I mean they can't be that broke if his wife can spend that much on him.
And especially since they live with you guys. A little show of gratefulness would've been nice.
Reply:No, your son should have organised a gift, even a small one from himself and his little daughter to her Grandad. This is a little insensitive, especially as you all live under the same roof.
Reply:Did he put anything in the card?
If not I think that that's uncalled for. If I am ever a father and mot son just seems to forget about father's day I think they I will be really hurt.
I don't think that you were out of line at all and the only reason that he got so angry was because he knows that you're right and he probably felt guilty about it prior to you bringing it up.
Reply:I think that fathers day is not about presents. It is about being with them and having a good time together.
Reply:Maybe last month they had a little extra money to send you those flowers and this month their kind of strap for cash, let him make it up on his birthday
Reply:When you are 23 you are not the most thoughtful person in the world.
That comes at an older age, when you start to appreciate your parents.
I am sure he feels like crap about the card, the way you reacted.
Let it go, you stepped it up a notch and went to the defense of your Husband and not his father.
Reply:Well, I bought my father a card and a $10 gift certificate. He did get his dad a card. Some people just don't spend as much money on gifts. It's not the price of a gift or how many gifts people get, he did think of his father. Although, since they do all live with you, it would've been nice for him to do something a little bit extra.
Reply:no your son should have gotten his father something but maybe something happened and you missed it....
Reply:Well It is a little odd that he didn't get something more than a card, even if it was something small like you mentioned. However there are two aspects you might want to look at. First, did his Dad tell him that he didn't want anything in the past. I know my own dad tells us he doesn't want gifts, that its silly...we get him something anyway though, but the point is he might have only been listening to what he was told....
Also, how smart is your son financially? If he recognizes his need to save money than he might be cutting back on even the smallest things such as extra books. His wife on the other hand might not make the wisest decisions and thus the reason for the game and gym membership.
Either way, its nonsense. I understand why you might feel like he should have gotten something but in the end it doesn't matter. Afterall, we can't take it with us, right?
Reply:At the very least it was bad timing. Was your husband disappointed with the lack of a gift? If not, there was no need to comment. If so, then he would be the one to say something to your son eventually but not you.
Reply:I don't think you were out of line, your son should have been able to at least gotten something small besides a card. I'm 19 and I bought my father a DVD box set and a picture frame.
Reply:It depends on what your husband would have wanted. For example some dads might want/appreciate a gift, some might want to do some kind of special activity, etc. Whatever would have made the day special for him is ideally what should have been done. If he really is having financial trouble he could have tried to do something special that didn't involve money.
Reply:they should have gotten Dad a gift. ( I get my in-laws gifts because my husband, THEIR kid is a do nothing when it comes to manners and thinking of others..and I never get a thank you, so I kinda know how all the sides feel...)
Tell your son he needs to do something special for his Dad...
Reply:Yeah it sounds like he is being thrifty, just a card...Does your son and husband have a good relationship?
Reply:You should have said nothing. He may be living in your home but your son is an adult. You can't treat him like he is 16 needing help from mommy what to do for dad on fathers day.
Reply:Males dont worry about gifts. Maybe he was leaving it up to his wife as men do.OR maybe they dont have a good relationship.Either way you were not out of line..Its not to late for your son to do something together with his father if he really wanted to.Its not about giftgiving.
Reply:Maybe trying to explain to your son that if he had been the one to only get a card for fathers day it probably would have hurt his feelings. This day is to show importants to your father and if all your son felt was necessary was a card then maybe he needs to take a look around him. Your son is living with the two of you.."his amazing parents" and I truely believe that he should show a whole lot more thanks for fathers day. There is not much that can be done about it now but it would be nice if your son could open his eyes and see that he has a lot to make up for next year. He in my opinion has no right to get mad with you about it and he is a little old to get upset about something so important...he doesn't have to agree but he could think about it and hopefully use it as a learning expierance.
GOOD LUCK
Reply:Well, it depends on how you look at it. The old saying goes. "It's the thought that counts." But was any thought put into the card, or was it the laswt one left when he ran into the store to grab something? Here is something else to consider: You said that your son and his family are living with you now due to financial reasons. If he has had to move his family into his parents house, does he actually have money to be spending on a hat or something that really carries no more meaning than a card? I don't know the whole situation, but it helps to look at it from different angles.
I can only speak with regard to my own dad's personality, but if I were in a situation where my family had to live with my parents, I am certain that my dad would actually prefer that I save the $ that would be spent on a gift to apply toward my own finances, thus getting me back on my own two feet sooner. Also, as a parent - I cannot imagine expecting an "equal value gift" from a son who I am having to assist financially. In fact - not to step on your toes, but it really seems a little petty to me. YOu mentioned that he did send you flowers on Mothers Day - perhaps because he knew that you would have this type of reaction if you didn't get a "real" gift. Again - not trying to be offensive - just playing devil's advocate so that you can see all sides.
I do not know what kind of relationship your family has. I got a card from mothers day that came with a lot of love. That was more than enough for me - and to me that is what the holiday is about. The holiday was set aside to honor fathers - not just buy them junk. If he shows honor and respect - and appreciation for all that his father does for him, then I should think that is enough.
It is perfectly acceptable for you to be disappointed that your son did not make more of a purchase for your husband on Father's Day. But...it isn't like he forgot the day - it was acknowledged. For that reason, i do think that you crossed a line in saying something to him about it. I would be offended by that.
Reply:As a Father, if my boys get me a card I fine with it, at least they thought of me. My boys are 27 and 24 both working and going to school with a son each of their own, that is gift enough for me. Question for Men?
I would like to do something special for my husband, just because.
Would a man appreciate having flowers delivered to his Job?
I know us Women love it, but what about you guys, would this be a good surprise or not?
Question for Men?
I like your comment "just because" which means for no reason. If everyone were like you and just did good things for others or their loved ones the world would be a great place. If your husband loves you Im sure he would appricate the flowers. Its these things that people do in relationships that keep them together, just the little things that mean so much. Its the "just because' or "for no reason" things that you do thats makes you a special person and wife.
Reply:Yes. Do it and while you're at it, you could send him a do it yourself castration kit as well.
Reply:Appreciate it ... uh no.
If she wanted to get me flowers and had them at home for me, I'd be touched I guess.
Reply:send him a sexy outfit to work and tell him you are gonna wear this for him tonight and rock his world that won't have the guys making fun of him they will be jealous
Reply:I don't think he would appreciate that too much...try greeting him with nothing on but a smile and dinner on the table when he gets home, or wash him in the bath, or show up at his work for lunch wearing a short skirt with no panties....he'll like that better I think
Reply:i dont see why not
Reply:Not if you want to stay married to him. He will be tortured for the rest of his career there. If you want to send him something nice send him a strip-a-gram. Better yet, do a strip tease for him yourself (at home preferably).
Reply:Depends on the guy. Personally I would not like it but it does give a message that you do care. Men would prefer other gifts than flowers. That is my opinion anyway.
Reply:A great gift for a guy is for you to arrange for him to do something hes interested in ( sports, golf, concert) with a buddy..make all the arangements and set him up
Reply:Not!! Guys generally don't like flowers or appreciate them the same way. Try bringing him lunch one day.
Reply:If you aren't sure either don't or have the arrangement come with favorite cookies or other food item, a baseball item, a football item, or something he would think was funny.
Reply:I wouldn't like it -- I would find it embarrassing. See, this is what bugs me: women want men to do things for them, such as send flowers, that they would NOT want done for themselves. If we can't think what a woman would want, they say we're stupid, non-romantic pigs. But, as your question so clearly points out, you are clueless what your man would want. All you can think to do for him is something you would want to have done for you. Think outside your box.
Reply:I would love flowers so i dont see why this would be a bad idea at all. Surprise him at work and go on lunch break with him or even take him some of his favorite candy with a card just because! He will appreciate and love the thought behind it. Good luck with it:)
Reply:I think this responds goes for any gender. What does he like? pamper him. Dinner, his favorite movie, sport tickets. a fantasy. But remember what ever you do do it willingly, do not do something like tickets to take him to a hockey game then say this is the worse time I had. It is important that you both enjoy it.
Reply:I know it might sound weird, but that would actually be a good thing. It would have the same affect that it has when a man sends flowers to his wife at work, they'll all be green with envy, even though they won't let it show.
Reply:Do the balloon thing,it's better.
Reply:great surprise. i think even more than women getting them. out of the norm. he'll enjoy them and so will everybody else. everybody will know how much you love him. i've been married for 17 years and i'll love to have some flowers mailed to me. do it add a little spark before valentines day. have fun
Reply:No!
Put a surprise in his lunch or wallet or coat pocket - something that won't embarrass him in front of his co-workers. His women co-workers would appreciate you sending him flowers, his males ones will think it's gay.
Reply:Instead of flowers how about a gadget like a keyring torch etc..
Reply:As a husband, flowers would be a nice gesture but they would not mean the same thing as they do to my wife.
Please understand my next comment, I say this as a Christian and as a man who is learning about my wife and her needs.
If you want to do something special for your husband, then be committed to a special day and build him up throughout the day, with a desire to be intimate with him that night or the next opportunity that is appropriate for the two of you.
Lead him on, with e-mails that are a bit sexy but not over the top. Keep him guessing, with the intent of building up his desire and expectation of consumating your relationship in the bedroom or some other 'Special' place that is good for the two of you.
Send him a naughty e-card...call him...leave him a voice mail...
Cook up a special meal and when he comes home, wear something sexy...keep the mood.
Let go of any doubts or negative obstacles that enter your mind or your day...focus completely on the two of you having a day of love making with your clothes on, while preparing for some love making with your clothes off.
Most of all do NOT tease and then not follow through...this is why I say be committed.
Let him know throughout the day, that he's the Man in your life.
Us guys are actually fairly sensitive creatures and we need to hear that our wife Respects us, Loves us and appreciates us...even when we are WRONG!!!
Guys want to feel needed and desired!!! Give him a day like that and he will be on cloud 9!!!
Reply:are you for real.... it would humiliate him
Reply:I wouldn't....too gay.
Reply:awful surprise, the men in the office will laugh of him .
It′s better to surprise him when he is back from work with a sexy lingerie and good meal.
Reply:NOOOOOOOOOOOO FLOWERS TO WORK.
Get some sexy underwear and dote over him. A good unexpected, uninhibited sex romp works too.
I repeat NOOOOOOOOOOOO FLOWERS TO WORK.
Reply:Naaah.. I wouldn't really want that .. it's other creative ways like delivering a lil teddy bear or something but if you really want some inspiration. have some lingerie delivered to his job you know he'd like to see you in .. nothin's better than the candy in that wrapping..
Would a man appreciate having flowers delivered to his Job?
I know us Women love it, but what about you guys, would this be a good surprise or not?

Bad as I wanna be?
I am such a bad boy, my friend set me up with this lady, I took her out to dinner, she ended up paying for the dinner.
"I forgot my wallet at home" She called my up to go on a second date, I stood her up. Third date she pick me up at
my house, my other lady friend open the door, so my date
"The one that came over to pick me up" Left the house crying. The following day, she called me and she cursed me out real good. The day after, I had flowers delivered to her work, she called me to thank me, and she came over to my house for Dinner, I made her dinner, and we drank a whole bunch of Wine, she was letting everything out, including herself, we had the best time that night. The following day she wants to go out again, I told her not to call me ever again. Am I a BAD BOY?
